One Piece At A Time
I'm going to be doing some body work this summer on my 1990 K2500, and inevitably will need to replace some of the fender and inner fender bolts and especially the U-nuts, or clip nuts, many of which will probably break off and spin due to rust (tried to attach a picture off the Web, but was unable to, but I think you all know what I'm talking about)
I would like to find some stainless steel versions of at least the clip nuts, so I won't have the same issue if I need to disassemble in the future, but all I can find are the black steel versions. Has anyone ever found stainless steel versions, or at least a way to treat the steel ones to be more rust resistant?
