I don’t think The battery is the problem as it’s fairly new

Unless it's been load tested I wouldn't rule it out. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. Batteries can fail in very strange and unexpected ways, regardless of age.

Yes, load rest the batter my and replace if needed. I also agree the first thing to do is turn the engine over by the front crank bolt using socket by hand.

Yes just did turn the engine from front bolt and it spins. Could it be because the timing is off, so it won’t crank?

I replaced a battery on my crew cab, end of November, that was only 18 months old. But the parts store checked it and they said it was in the last quarter of its life. I don't like being stranded, and already had been once that evening. Since they would warranty it at no cost to me, it was worth it to me to change it out.

to you all who replied about the battery, I am sorry. You were right. The test at the auto part store said it was bad. I will come back after replacing for an update
