gmt400's are notorious for this problem. I had the same issue and living in Michigan, the winters were rough and my abs failed me a few times. Then I noticed after the snow melted, I was still having the same issue and it almost caused me to rear end someone because my abs was fighting me so I just disassembled the abs under the hood and it fixed the problem. Now my abs light clearly doesn't come on but by brake light stays on constantly, but it's better than not knowing if my truck is going to stop.
