2 wheel ABS question

I have an 88 2wd with 2 wheel ABS. The brake warning light is on and I Found that a purple wire from the top ABS connector dead ends behind the engine. Where is this supposed to go?

I suggest downloading the service manual set for your vehicle from the links on the Sticky thread section of the Engine forum. The wiring diagram for ABS should give you the answer.
