It is a super low mileage 99 LT Tahoe. I really wanted black but white is a better choice for daily driving. Going to do the usual on it. Static drop, helper bags with air mang, clean up the exterior, metal flake roof, radir wheels, etc etc.

The rear suspension on these are really hard to work with since there's several crossmembers in the way and the shock mounting leaves you with pretty much no choices in aftermarket drop shocks without cutting off the mount that is on the rear end. I have figured out a pretty trick way to do relocate the shocks and add helper bags. I ordered everything so as soon as it comes in I will get started on that. Also replacing front end ball joints, tie rods, doing an aftermarket sway bar and will be doing quite a bit of powdercoating.

Should look good when it's done. :)

Got the stance figured out finally and took the front suspension apart and sent out to get powdercoated. Got the front fender lips rolled. I'm still waiting on some peices that I am getting water jetted and Then will be starting on the helper bags and shock mounts in the rear. Magnaflow catback exhaust came in aswell.

Got my notch pieces bent up and plan on getting that knocked out this week.

Chrome wheels with spider caps will look pretty good on it.

The gas tank filler tube goes right above the rear end so I made a bracket that i am going to tig weld using silicone bronze to the tube and then flush weld a nut into the support crossmember on the floor of the Tahoe and it'll bolt there. I also took 1 1/2" out of the hose to goes to the from the tube to the filler neck to gain a little clearance for the shocks. I will be using a hose with a 45 degree bend to gain a little clearance over the axle.

There was a tab for the filler tube to bolt to the old spare tire crossmember that I cut down to match the other tab that was on the filler.

Thanks guys. I have been TIG welding everything together and hope to send it all to powdercoat the first of next week. I am ready to get it back together.

I will get some updated pictures and post them.

Finished welding up the upper and lower shock/bag crossmembers and the tank/compressor crossmember. Also got the ujoints knocked out of the drive shaft and it's ready for powder coat.

Got the gas tank/exhaust crossmember cut out for the drive shaft. I am going to weld up and smooth out the notch before powdercoating.

I ran out of Argon for the tig so I didn't get the hanger welded on to the new exhaust tip.

Have to flush weld a nut into the floor crossmember for the gas fill tube to bolt to and make a mount for the brake line. Luckly I was about to tweak the brake line a little and move one of the mounts up a little so I don't have to bend a new one.

Going to send the rear end to get blasted then I'm going to paint it.

I'm using a factory cup holder piece for the center console to hold the gauges/switches. I am going to use panel bond to hold them together.
