so i recently put a carbed 350 and a new clutch with it in my truck and i know i put the clutch and throw out bearing in correctly cause i followed the haynes manual. The problem im having is my slave cyl was not un hooked when we took the old engine and trans out(it was unbolted) so no fluid went anywhere but bolted everything back up and it would barley engage. however if i start the truck in gear and push the clutch in it will disengage it a little bit.but wont allow me to change gears. This is the 3rd slave i will have had in 2 years.

Bleed the crap out of your clutch. Then bleed it some more.
some how lost this thread and the replies werent showing up :/ but ill continue to bleed it. i threw a new slave in it and now it works fine for about the first 15 minutes of driving then looses all pressure unless i down shift and stay in frist when stopped.
