Bought it in March it’s been sitting since then. Used the key before this to start it a few times with np.

Sounds like an ignition switch. Also is it really a 94 tahoe. Thought they came out 95?

Also it has an alarm not sure about remote start. First thing I want to do is take that alarm out

Yes and no. The 92-94's were considered the "Blazer." 95 is when they started calling them "Tahoe's." I also believe 95 is when they started making the 4 door option.
