Just finished reading the whole thread, awesome job. Love seeing these beasts getting a 2nd chance. As for the fuel tank leaking over 1/2 full. Same thing happened to me years ago on my 91. There was so much dirt and crap packed between the tank and the plastic cover that it rusted through at the seam. You may just have to bite the bullet and drop the tank and replace it. And while you're in there, replace the pump, or at the very least the rubber hose. Mine was swiss cheese, truck would idle, but bog, stumble and sputter under load, not enough pressure to run. Sorry for long winded advice, keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kudos and sharing your fuel tank gremlins. Much appreciated!
The fuel tank support underneath is rotten so I might drop her out and replace. Definitely looking to upgrade to at least a vortech pump!

Took a mad lap outside the office and noticed something hanging underneath the truck...
Crawled underneath and saw an entire wire harness hanging over the front drive shaft...
Could have sworn I felt/herd a clunk when backing out of driveway this morning...
Guessing this has something to so with the speedo not working...

Can't believe it didn't fall off....guess drive shaft snagged it and ripped it out?

Still researching the speed and trans sensors...still can't believe it got ripped out like that.
In fact if you look closely at my exhaust video you can see it hanging over the front driveshaft....below is a screenshot from the video.

The good news is that there is a chance that replacing the vss could help fix the shifting issues I'm having.

Speaking of shifting gears, summit dropped off some shocks today...didn't realize I have to assemble them but doesn't look too bad.

Assembly of the shock wasn't too bad, lubed up the key holes and pressed the bushing in...no biggie

Mega fail alert...
Rear shocks too short, should have known something was up when the rear bushing wouldn't fit, apparently these fit the front not the back.
