700r4 k 2wd to k 4wd

All i need to so ia swap the tail shaft with a 4wd 700r correct?.

No the entire tranny needs to come apart to change them.

Well yeah but all i ned to transfer to the 2wd is the tail shaft from the 4wd and then put all internals back together and the c clip
