90 Chevy K1500 4x4 5.7l. Trans has around 1000 miles on it. Beefier internals, billet shell etc. Yesterday I modded the TBI and put a 1” spacer under it.
Now 1st to 2nd is hard, 2nd to 3rd slips bad. If I really jump on it, it will go into 4th. I’ve followed the adjustment info and then went 2 clicks either way. Very little change. Do I need a different bracket to keep cable angle consistent? Did I miss something?
It worked perfect before I parked it Friday. About to pull my hair out. Thanks

Is there an aftermarket cable mount that raises them up to compensate for the tbi spacer?
