Disclaimer: I have not done any type of fiberglass or SMC fiberglass repair before, so I’m learning as I go.

That said, I started tackling the fender repairs tonight.

First, I wanted to make this gap smaller….

So I got creative with some hammering and a few ratchet straps…

It was then that I realized that you can’t just make a small batch of resin, so I started prepping a few other places on the fender.

I’ve decided to “shave” the OEM fender lights since they have seen better days, and the fiberglass holding them was damaged. I will go back later with some LEDs.

You could toss those fender lights out at my house. I'll make sure they're properly disposed of!

I'm going to rewire my side markers including the ones on the bed to ground through the front turn signal high side so they will become repeaters.

The bed ones are currently grounding through the rear turn signal high side and they go out when I hit the brakes!

So, dumb question, anyone know how thick of spacer I’ll need to run my 265/75r16s as duals to prevent rubbing the sidewalls?
Since I hate the look of rubber outside fenders, I've fiddled with this for a while.

For stock 16" steelies:
265/75r16 is 32ish x 10.5. The 1.5" spacer should work
255/85r16 is 33ish x 10 and can use a 1.5" spacer. That keeps them tucked inside the fender and is why I use that size tire
285/75r16 is 33ish x 11+, and needs a 2" spacer. They are outside the fender, but not horribly so
