Since I hate the look of rubber outside fenders, I've fiddled with this for a while.

For stock 16" steelies:
265/75r16 is 32ish x 10.5. The 1.5" spacer should work
255/85r16 is 33ish x 10 and can use a 1.5" spacer. That keeps them tucked inside the fender and is why I use that size tire
285/75r16 is 33ish x 11+, and needs a 2" spacer. They are outside the fender, but not horribly so

Are the 265s flush or do they stick out a little?

I don’t yet know how this will turn out, but I quickly learned to NOT immerse the whole piece of fiberglass you’re working with into the epoxy. Just brushing the epoxy worked better… that clumpy stuff is the first piece I tried, it came out in gooey pieces…

I would expect a 265/75 with 1.5 spacer, to stick out about 1/2-3/4" at tread with an extra inch down at the sidewall. They will look good. I ran them for quite a while before going taller and narrower with the 255/85.

FYI - 1.5" spacers require slight trimming of factory studs

The epoxy hardened before I could do much more than glassing the passenger rear fender back to the bracket, and filling in the marker lights. But here’s where it’s at for now. It’s already hardened up decent, but it’ll need to cure before sanding it down and adding filler. One more batch of epoxy should get me finished with everything else.

Edit, I did manage to glass the back of the large split on the driver side fender too

This is 100% my biggest concern with the spacers
Yep, that is why I went the route I did and started with the 2" spacer and the wider tires. Eventually, I just needed to get them tucked back in and lose the Buckwheat smile. The trimming of the stud is minimal.... the conical section above the threads.... no loss of strength if you need to go back in time.

I measured 1.5" from the edge of my tire (225/75/16) to the edge of the fender so I was expecting that.
