5.7 vortec mpg

How many folks posting mpg with different tires and/or gears have calibrated to compensate? My 5.7 tbi with 700r4 gets 16 on the hwy. Have seen 17 if I stay on the hwy at 70ish unloaded. Has got the same mileage for 30 years

I did when I went from 3.42s to 4.11s and then when I went from 235/75R-15s to 275/60R-15s but that only take a couple minutes with my Dakota Digital dash. I start the calibration and drive 1 mile (from mile marker to mile marker), hit the button a 2nd time and wholla my odometer and speedometer are calibrated!

Lucky. I had to solder jumpers in the cluster lol

I soldered DIP switches in my G20 van years ago. Made for getting both the speedo and PCM speeds identical and accurate.

GM speedometers seem to be about 2-3 mph fast at 70 mph on stock size tires. The odometer counts the same error (wonder why...Get you out of warranty faster) I was able to fix the speedometer and odometer on my Express van with both the black box and 0411.

Yeah what I do with the DD dash is just for the speedometer then, I have to go into the EBL and adjust PPM in it. Right now it's set to 2417.11, Damned Hexadecimal, LOL

Hola, me alegro que tengo un consumo terrible. También me gustaría saber con las modificaciones que hizo con el cuerpo del acelerador más grande, cuánto aumentó su mpg para hacer lo mismo que hizo. Saludos, espero su respuesta
