You are right. That's the one that is coming. I by no means know anything technical. Whats the difference? What benefits will I gain from the 3.27.The 2.87 came with either a .68 or .8 5th gear. You likely got the .68. I would have gone for the one with the 3.XX first gear in your application. They're all tough as nails.

Unless you have experience with other first gear ratios for that weight of vehicle, diff ratio, tire size, and engine torque it's a tough call!

Yea. It seems pretty straightforward. The only thing that needs modified is my floor for the shifter. There maybe a "cut out" spot for a shifter I'm not sure.So the 4l60 cross member doesn't appear to need changed or modified in some way. Just a different mount. Cool.
