Well, my 4L60E took a dump. I lost all gears except 1st and reverse. This is the second transmission my truck ate. I knew I should have went w the 80. My sniper and Transmission have been fighting each other from day 1 even though my transmission had it very on TPS.

As of last week I ordered the American Powertrain 5 speed complete Kit.

It should be here in about two weeks. I'm super excited about this swap

So what is the set-up going to be for a bell housing and clutch?

Do you have a factory GMT400 pedal parts?

It's a complete kit that comes with the pedal, bell housing, clutch, master Cylinder, drive shaft ect. Everything that's needed to convert an auto to manual.

The 2.87 came with either a .68 or .8 5th gear. You likely got the .68. I would have gone for the one with the 3.XX first gear in your application. They're all tough as nails.
