4.3 vortec motor mount problems

Just swapped out the motor mounts on my 94 sierra with a 4.3 in it but the driverside mount wont line up with the big bolt hole. Passenger side lines up but the driverside is off by lil under half an inch. Tried rocking, raising, lowering the motor but no luck. Any suggestions!!!???

If the V6 mounts are built like the V8 mounts, the rubber portion should be able to slide around inside the metal bracket.

It's why I was afraid to use the Energy Suspension Polyurethane cushions--on my truck the rubber inserts are slid all the way towards the center of the vehicle to make the narrowest mounting position; and the ES cushions wouldn't slide that far over.

But maybe the V6 mounts are different.
