So there are some pics. The drop is in place with a couple grand ($2090) of new parts installed on the front end, in addition to the Belltech lowering parts. New 8 lug hubs with disk rotors, seals and bearings, rod ends, upper and lower control arms, ball joints and steering linkage (pitman arm). The 5 / 7 drop shows the truck sitting on stock 17" wheels, which tucked under the stock rear fender.
The next big question mark is the POWERTRAIN PEFORMANCE 454 big block long block that I ordered in December 2021???? Supposedly, it is to ship this week, but can you friggin' believe there is an 8 week lead time on the motor!!! I will let you know how that install goes and if delivery is timely. I saw POWERTRAIN PERFORMANCE on a youtube version of TRUCK U, so I decided to support another company that supports the aftermarket industry. If these guys are good, I will source my next LS swap and some lower cost SBC's for my C10 farm!!!

The Belltech 717SP drop kit rear is apparent here. I am out of the country so the guys are not really sending me good pics of the work so far! Kind of upsetting!! Why can't you just take some good pics of the drop and send them to me - - - ??? I got an e-mail from Powertrain Performance and they said 2 to 3 more weeks on the motor!!!!! Said there are parts on backorder for the 454's!!! Oh yeah, here is the American Force wheel and tire combo I selected for the 3500. Lexani wheels will make this a working towpig!! Gonna be towing an enclosed or a car hauler

I BOUGHT A SQUAREBODY SUBURBAN!!! IT IS ROUGH, BUT THIS IS THE REALITY AND THE DREAM.
I know this is not a GMT400 (I don't think it is anyway???) but I am getting totally addicted to these trucks! My first real truck was a 1992 GMC extended cab stepside. I am looking for a picture, but that was before I had a cell phone or a phone with a camera!!!

Wait a minute....are you copying me??? LOLOL
Ok, so here is the question, because I am sort of confused - - - is the 1991 suburban 1500 a GMT400??? I ask the same thing about the 2000 GMC 3500 CCD? These are sort of oddball b/c of the end of year model changeovers which were unique to suburbans and crew cab dually's. Yeah, if you do cool stuff I will def. rely on advice from someone who has already paid the "price of learning how to do it right" and "do I really want to do that????"
