Long Roof K2500 Driver
Hauled some lumber home from town yesterday. Glad I didn't settle for a 4-door Yukon. 8' right at home!

So I may have a line on a set of chrome finish H2 wheels, trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger.
It looks great now, but I'd definitely like to have the wider wheel, and lets be honest, they are awesome looking wheels, and what I originally wanted on the 'burb.
I think they look great. I have considered them for the PSG. But I kinda like the classic steel 16s as they are.
Funny, I want a RCLB 2500/3500 for a plow truck in the future.
And I want a K2500 sclb for a general purpose work truck.
I just want something like I grew up with at this point. When I was a kid, 70% of pickups were still RCLB configuration, they hadn't become a car yet. Really I'd like to find one with a bed, but I can make the flatbed work for now, and for the pickups intended purpose, it may work out better. Don't get me wrong, I'd still love to have a RCSB to daily drive, but they are drawing a pretty strong premium in today's market. I'll settle for a heavy multiuse setup with an LS swap, haha.
Another thing that drove (pun intended! ) sales on crew cabs, is that a lot of places don't allow people riding in a truck bed anymore. Lots of yard crews in Houston area got crew cabs and SUVs for that reason. But yeah, it does look dumb!Yeah, around here the only folks driving RCLB are work people like plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc.
I drive by an industrial area on my way to work and there's a big carpet warehouse. Most trucks driving out of there are the 1500 CC 5.5' bed trucks. They look comical loaded with 3 to 6 rolls of carpet or padding, either loaded over the cab or rolls hanging out 6.5' outside of bed, LOL. Rolls are 12'. Pretty new, decked out trucks too.
Only a few seem smart enough to be driving older GMT 800/400 long beds. Amazing!
