Tax returns came in, so I'm deciding on which LT headers to get. I found these two sets from Hedman on ebay, take a look and tell me what you think.. I want to go with the ceramic coated, keep the heat down under the hood. Should I buy the header wrap tape or is it not worth it?

I don't want to get the ebay knockoffs, and I heard hedman are a safe bet on install. Advice on install? Which gaskets are the best or tricks to get into the tight areas?

Thanks

If you have LT hedders on your 1998 K1500 and love them, post the model number and where you got them, I am open to all options and will pick a pair that has good reviews.

They will bolt on but you will have to drill another hole for the o2 sensor on the pass side and weld a o2 bung on it,and either delete the egr valve or weld on a egr fitting on the driver side. For an extra 20 bucks you get the obx headers that plenty of people are running and say nothing but good things just the gaskets they give are junk like all the headers.

Yeah, what GMstrong said...all the headers you posted are for TBI engines and you would need to have O2 sensors added to the collectors and find a way to deal with EGR. OBX headers are Vortec specific and not much more
