1996 GMC Grill-How Does It Come Off???

There are screws at the top. No problem. But how are you suppose to release the two big plastic tabs at the bottom that hold it on? Thanks.

You have to remove the parking lights and reach in to depress the tabs to release the grille. Don't forget about the tab in the middle. You have to release 3 tabs to remove the grille from the lower filler piece.

Also there is one screw right in the center of the grille around the GMC emblem.

i got the bottom 3 clips with a long pry bar with a small angle on the end .

The hard way (read what I did) is to unbolt the bumper filler then unclip the three clips. I do not suggest this...
