The harness is just clipped in, you could swap your old harness into the donor dash.

@98chevy2500SS did one, maybe he can chime in. You’ll need the duct from the donor dash but that and the wiring just clip in.

'98 dash to '95 dash

Can't remember where another topic was like this but, how would I go about installing a '95 Chevy truck dash in a '98? My truck has the airbag dash, but I want to switch it to the '95 airbag-less cup holder dash. How would I go about doing this? Don't like airbags. Sorry if I am asking the same...

I'm doing the same dash swap 96 dash into a 98 I'm having an issue my fuel pump won't turn on and the gauge is not working did you have problems with this as well
