I don't have a lot of money and I don't have much of knowledge so I want to do the cheapest and easiest route. I want to buy cylinder heads with valvetrain already installed. Those are costly if I want to buy a pair brand new. Junk yard motors might not be worth pulling. It's also hard to find a '95 l05 3/4 ton engine. Can anyone point me in a good direction? Im considering
-swapping heads and intake with vortec ones
-scrapyard engine
-cheaper stock size heads from online
-donor truck

If you're interested in doing an LS style swap there is a ton of information online on how to do it. My favorite being The Driveway Engineer on Youtube he has great info and LT1Swap.com but the easier route obv would be to replace stock motor...

Try car-part.com. Or something like that. They list all kinds of engines and parts, where I got the "new" engine for my truck, which came from a '95 G3500.
