you can run a 6.2 liter diesel throw out bearing instead of the bronze bushing that is stock. The 6.2 bearing is an actual bearing.

Do you mean bronze pilot bushing? Or throw out bearing? I know the stock pilot bearing is bronze

The bronze pilot bushing, on a 6.2 it is a needle bearing

Not unless its leaking.

Has someone done a write up on the procedure of a clutch replacement on a 4x4 k2500?

I wqs looking to get some hints and tricks. I have the service manual, but its not very good in telling how to make the job easier or how to do it when you dont have a shop full of GM tools

The only specialty tools that you are going to need are a transmission jack and a clutch alignment tool.

What about alignment pins for the bell housing?
I dont have a transmission jack

The alignment pins are already in the block. I suggest that you rent,borrow or buy a transmission jack because it is very difficult to do this job with out one.

X2 - I bought an adapter for my floor jack and it worked fine.
