16 to 15?

I had 15x8 american racing rims on my 96 they fit fine

My truck has 15's and the guy before me that had these rims were on a 97 chevy and were fine. We tried putting them on a 2001 z71 at one point, but that didn't work too well. haha

15's will fit ANY 1/2 ton OBS GMT400. 15x8, 15x10, whatever. I've run them all on multiple trucks, as have many here.

I think the ones that wont fit 15s are the ones that have 3/4 ton or 1 ton brakes on them

that would make sense... i see obs 1/2 tons around here with 15s all the time... i couldnt see why some of the members here said they dont fit on some trucks... Theirs got to be a reason, that one seems to make sense to me.
