with a flip you use round u bolts and add a plate to the top of the spring, same setup as the 73-87 trucks and you can use the 3/4 ton plates for one of those for the flip, 1/2 ton has the wrong spacing to fit the ubolts.

just getting the plates from a 3/4 ton or 1 ton 88-98 will enable you to use the 9.5 with your current square bolts
