I was searching for random things on ebay and stumbled on this https://www.ebay.com/itm/234873320677?_trkparms=amclksrc=ITM&aid=777008&algo=PERSONAL.TOPIC&ao=1&asc=20221115143614&meid=9379874a138c4c8f9944f6322b845366&pid=101616&rk=1&rkt=1&sd=255651724650&itm=234873320677&pmt=1&noa=1&pg=4375194&algv=RecentlyViewedItemsV2SignedOut&brand=Chevrolet&_trksid=p4375194.c101616.m5481&_trkparms=parentrq:6bc7615418a0ad987c37cf1affffebb6|pageci:2fdfbb71-4ce4-11ee-946f-f65cd047261d|iid:1|vlpname:vlp_homepage it is an express van harness for 5.0/5.7 vortec with the 0411 pcm the question is if some one wanted to do the swap could they use this as is I do not see why it would not work unless there is a difference in the plug that goes in the fire wall

The van and truck harnesses are far different. Much easier to re-pin your existing harness.

Just reading y'all's post and I am installing a 02 vortex 5.0 in my (and this may be a problem) 92 k1500 that had a tbi 5.7 ( I know seems backwards) but the 5.0 was a give me, well the entire express van was . So I have the 5.0 installed, bolted to my 700 r4, the 411 installed along with fuse and relay center. Also a new fuel pump for the 02. Now it's wiring time, I'm needing to know what pins from 92 ECM to connect to the 02 411 PCM. Also any suggestions on how to add the OBD2 connection and the inside fuse block. As soon as I find a 4l60 E for a 4wd I think it will be going in. Well I hope. The van had a 4l80 in it and was 2wd.... So any info on that would be appreciated.... Thanks in advance for any and all advice... And yes I'm in Louisiana if y'all couldn't guess that one...

sorry I can not help much with this but others can/will from what was just told to me you will need a 96+ engine harness from a truck tahoe suburban yukon you may need a cab harness I am not 100% on that and you are going to have to convert from obd1 to obd2 you will also need to send lextech an email https://www.gmt400.com/threads/0411-pinout-contact-for-lextech.61796/

Thanks for the reply, I have installed the harness from the van . When I pulled motor and burned up trans I pulled EVERYTHING... I'm just not quite sure the order of new fuse block to old . And if course which pins from old to new.I think I've been looking to long and hard at it. Starts to kinda blur after awhile...lol

Your best bet would be make the engine harness standalone, then tap into truck for the few necessary connections and add OBD II plug

How to add the OBD2 is one of my problems. And here lies second problem where to put those necessary connections in the blue and red terminal bars in the 411 PCM. Thank you for the advice. When I finally told myself this may have been a little more than I wanted to chew. I found gmt400 forum and I knew y'all could help.... Thank man
