    I have an 89 gmc c1500 305 tbi and it has a hard time starting after sitting over night. Its has had timing issues in the past also has 200000+ miles on it. I want to change my timing chain and gears but I've never done a timing chain before. Can anyone tell me what to do or not to do any help...

    What temps do your heaters put out?

    i recently had the same problem with my 89 and i just flushed the heater core real good with my water hose and topped off the anti freeze and it went back to normal.

    thats the only thing i didnt like is losing my storage pocket but hey sometimes you gotta make sacrifices. Cant you just remove the casette player and install the stereo in the same place?

    I have an 89 gmc 1500 with the 305 tbi and it always runs at around 200 210 degrees ever since i bought it. Is this normal if not does anyone know anything that may cause this or i can do to get it to run cooler?
