TH400 and differential gearing

i have a th400 in my 92 1500 with 30.50 tall tires (275-30-24), what gearing would you go with?? mostly gonna drive this around town and id like it to have as much grunt as possible but still be able to take it on the highway IF i had to... open to hear your opinion. thanks, jorge

upper and lower control arms 1" shorter

anyone makes or know who makes upper and lower control arms 1 inch shorter than stock?? (chevyguy) was building a jig to make some awhile ago but nothing yet as far as i know. thanks, jorge

3" drop on 96 suburban, opinions wanted!

hello, im gonna help my buddy drop his 96 burb but he wants it to ride as smooth as possible in the front after the drop. should we go with 2'' spindles and 1'' springs?? or 2'' LCA's and 1'' springs?? and what springs?? or skip all that and go straight to 3'' lowering springs...

cadillac ext roof rack on OBS truck

does anyone know if the roof rack from a ext caddy can be installed in a obs chevy? im wondering how long are the ext roof racks because i saw some on a dodge and they looked bad ass..

how to measure a static drop?

lq9 vs 350 weight difference

does anyone know the weight difference from a 350 and a lq9?? i know when i removed my 454 and put in a 350 the truck sat a tad higher in the front, and now im gonna be replacing the 350 with a lq9 and want to know if i should keep the same front coils.. thanks, jorge
