    Convert TH400 to manual transmission

    I have a 1989 k3500. It is 4x4 7.4L with TH400 mated to the transfer case. Will the NV4500 bolt to my transfer case? Will I need a different transfer case also? Has anyone one made a thread about swapping out TH400 for a manual?

    I want to put a manual trans in a 1990 2wd 7.4L gen 4 engine.

    What manual trans would have come standard in a 1990 C3500? Is this NV4500 transmission a good choice/will it bolt up and fit the crossmember and driveshaft? I searched about 8 pages in this sub but I'm still not sure what trans I need for the gen4 engine?

    This is what the inside of your brake system looks like...

    My 1990 C3500 had a brake light that I couldn't seem to make go out. After some reading, I figure that maybe the RWAL brake solenoid is causing the problem. I also figure the brake system might need an overhaul after 25 years.

    I am having trouble loading pictures
