    Someone talk me out of ditching my TBI setup

    I'm wanting to do an engine rebuild/swap in the future. If I ditch the TBI, what do I need to run a Holley kit on the truck?? Will I need to retain much of the sensors and wiring, or what? I was planning on a carb until reading this thread.

    I am replacing the rear springs on my Sport, and there are drop shackles on it. I want to go back to the original height shackles, but there are so many options available. How do I know which ones to get? Its just a stock 90 Sport short box.

    Fog light question

    Yeah, those plastic TYC ones are what I replaced the OE lites with. But, the original ones are a steel lamp case, and a glass lens. I didn't know if anybody knew of a source to repair the stockers and keep them to put back on.

    I just removed the fog lites on my 90 sport, and to my surprise, they were the original lites. One lens is broken, and the other is still good and working. I just replaced them with the TYC plastic ones, but I wonder if anyone knows if there may be any replacements left around for the steel...

    I'm looking at trying a little lowering on my truck. I want to do a one inch spring in the front, and shackles and hangers on the rear. I don't know if anyone has ever done this, but curious about driveline issues. I don't want to go real low, just bring it down so there's not such a huge gap...

    So Moparmat, did you use springs in the rear, or spring shackles and frame mounts? I see you said shock relocaters, but never did say how you dropped the rear? If I missed it, I apologize. Truck looks great both ways I think!!

    Nice little truck. The Sierra GT package didn't come out until 90, as well as the Chevy Sport. The engine options for either or was a 4.3, 5.0, or 5.7. The 454 was just in the SS truck then.

    I have the factory wiring in place. My switch is on its last leg tho. I've seen a couple on Craigslist, but is there any where else to find the fog light switches? I'm replacing the fogs with just a pair of cheap aftermarket lights.
