I believe the idea has been brought up at least a few times over the last year, but what would you guys think about planning out a big ol GMT400 meet? We're all sorts of scattered around the States, but what if we had a big, huge meet and then some smaller regional ones? I think it'd be sweet to show off our trucks, be able to meet everyone, do some barbecuing, hang out and shoot the ****. Maybe even some contests (and burnouts?). I think it'd be awesome, but where do all of you stand on that?
That’s a good idea. I think maybe we should dedicate its own thread to the subject. Certainly a lot of people view this one, but I’d hate for it to get lost in his thread.

@Wh4t3v3rs just let me know when the truck is done so I can write the check:ROFLJest:

Seriously, going to be so epic when she’s done.

Well, no good news tonight! We had a couple days that got super cold here, and had a wind chill in double negative digits, and it got my block. I started it Saturday when I got my trans dipstick tube installed and noticed it leaking. I topped of the cooking system tonight and brought it up to operating temperature and sure enough it was leaking out the side of the block.
I got it all tore down except for dumping the coolent and removing the converter bolts......
So as of right now here's how Clark looks. Not to flattering, but it is what it is, and all I can do is recover, fix the problem, and move forward. I haven't really decided how I'm gonna approach the fix, but I'm not gonna let it get me down or slow me down from the 2024 race season!!!

So, I've got a plan of action. I have a Gen IV 6.0l that I was gonna build with a forged bottom end. I'm gonna leave the stock bottom end in it, install my cam, head studs, bolt on my go fast ****, and freakin send it!!! I'm ready to freakin start racing!!!!

I got the old motor pretty much tore down and ready to come out. I'll get the gen IV to the truck next week, buy the accessories that differ from the gen III and push forward!
