Fluid and filter changed. Pan painted. After a consultation with a friend who owns a transmission shop we put Valvoline Dexron VI synthetic in it.

Intake on to stay. Heater hoses plumbed up. Steam port will be plumbed to a hole in the radiator formerly occupied by a heater hose as the 90 is configured differently so no steam port adapter needed. Power steering hoses and lines massaged to fit L59 pump. Hydro boost port plugged. Harnesses loomed up.and ready.

Harnesses done. AC compressor mounted up. My friend Adam is going on vacation returning Saturday and then the final assembly will commence. I really like the Dirty Dingo AC bracket.

Custom ECU and electronics mount panel fabbed up. Fan installed. Exhaust started. Shifter linkage modified and functional. New plugs installed .

After an extensive search the correct length serpentine belt was located and installed.
The Dakota Digital instrument cluster looks right at home in the dash. Adam is working on the exhaust today. PCM is due back by the weekend.

Under hood pretty much done. Cooling system filled. No leaks so far. Cold air intake and fitting to plumb brake booster hose into the back of the intake on the way.
That is a nice looking dash, and easy to read at a glance.

It was pricey, but the 33 year old original gauges had issues and I need reliability. The engineer who came up with the shorting out various pins procedure to make the speedo read right and no way to account for ratio changes could have done a better job.

The intake arrived and is installed. I will likely go with a little different arrangement when I put electric fans on in the future. It is close to the fan and hood clearance is a concern as well but it looks like it will clear.
