Hey everyone. I'm a new GMT400 owner located in Prince Edward Island Canada. I picked up this interesting Chevy 3500 "Pickup" a few weeks ago. It's a single rear wheel 4x4, 350 Automatic and has factory AC. A friend of mine at a GM dealer ran the VIN and it turns out it was originally sold as an incomplete. It has an 8 foot box on it now. It has 128000km on it (79000 miles) but it appears some of these miles were hard miles. She has a heavy Western snow plow on it right now. I plan to remove it and then start a bit of a restoration. She's fairly solid for an east coast truck. The box that is currently on it came from the southern US. The truck came factory black so it might be nice to bring it back to it's original color at some point. It's pretty rare to see a 4x4 3500 series truck from this era here. I hope to give it all the love I can afford to give it. :)

There was a dealership here that had a bunch of new SRW GMT400 3500's come in they sold as 'incomplete'. Came from the factory that way. 'Cab & chassis'.
They usually ended up as Lunch Trucks. 'Gut Wagons'. Still a few running around.
The rail yards used a lot of them for rail trucks, too. But those got used till they were deader than dead.
That one of your's seems to have survived relatively well!

There's one like that in my part of Houston. Seen it a few times going between worksites. Looks to be in pretty good shape for an old "roach coach". Hope to be able to catch it for pictures soon.
