My 92 silverado

92 Silverado ex cab 350 5 speed 4x4 bought it someone sealed the trans and put a nv4500 that is in process of comming out and having my 4 speed out in it the 4500 is jamed in 3rd gear plans for the Truck is 6 inch lift and some 35s and 400+hp 400+ torque sbc here's only pics I got of the truck with me and my fiance on our first date couple days after I bought the truck for 1200 I saved it from a salvage yard had new tires and complete front suspension was new along with 4 shocks and new breaks ....truck was bought from a auction by my old boss truck start run and drove I never did know why it ended up at the auction nothing wrong with it but hey I got my ex can 4x4 350 stick shift full-size obs I have always wanted

Look into an LS swap you will enjoy that much more. I gave up on sbc they are a thing of the past

If I ls swap it if I don't put a 5.3 with a carb in it I thought about a 6.0 or a 6.2 but code wise most likely gonna be a 5.3 with the carb setup IF i go ls

I been looking around for everything I'm going to need to put a 5.3 in the ole girl in front of the 4 speed trans trying to find part numbers and everything to make a list so I can gather it up before I start the swap and figure up cost

Look on pirate 4x4 forum.
There is a section or post with part numbers to put a older SM465 or such behind a LSx.

350R vortec or a 6.0 V8 I got both of these engines.in two different vehicles.they are both great engines.

Well after some crappy luck turning to good I'm putting "rooster " in the shop to get a new clutch and rebuild the nv4500 gonna be roughly 1400 for parts and labor and that's me buying a lifetime warranty clutch
