Well guys here are some things I've been up to on my 97.
I added some 18's off the GMT900's got them for a great price from a coworker.

I also completed the four corner light mod, added smoked lenses, and then added the wrong LED turn signals. I was drunk and ordered black not smoked lights. So I have to order the correct lights if anyone is interested in the black led lights let me know. The corner lights aren't that bright because there amber lights I plan to switch to leds in august and paint the grill white.

As you can see from some of the date stamp some pics are couple months old. I have also added the smoked putco led 3rd brake light. I had some problems with it and 14 days after the warranty ran out, summit replaced it for me. That's great customer service and I commend them for it.

And last but not least I completed the new speaker box. I cut out the Z71 logo and back lit it in green leds like the front part of the center console. I hope to have the rest of the console finished in the next month. The speaker box took awhile to complete where I was happy with it. I will get more pics when I pull it out to finish it. I still have to decide how to cover it but it looks great. I still have to change the exterior logos back to factory style.

I slapped the amp rack together I want better amps before I rebuild it.

The front half of the center console I started still haven't finished it or the 2nd half I'm working on it now. All I done is add leds to the cup holders. I attempted to tint a piece of plexi glass to cover the logo I got it too dark, but I got the one on the front of the speaker box like I want. I just have to cut the one for the top of the console.

Also that's why you don't cut piece's of plexi with a jigsaw it breaks it terrible.

I'd be interested in the black led lights. Also do your leds flash fast? I have led tails on my burban and they flash fast, and I cant find the flasher for the turns just the hazards.

THANKS everyone I love this truck and all the thoughts and or feedback that feed my addictions from this website.

No I have no fast flash I did replace the flasher and I can get you a picture of it and the part number tomorrow. My fast flash came from the cheapo ebay 194 leds. They either worked as blinkers with no lights on or I could reverse them in the bulb holders and they worked as blinkers with the lights on. It was one or the other not both with the ones I had. The pictures from February had the cheapo ebay led 194's in them. Yeah the drunk ebay surfing got me again lol. I plan to change the bed rail covers to camo and I'm going switch back to the factory black and red z71 logo.

91Bluestreak I can't get rid of them until I order new ones which should be by the end of the month I hope.

Heres a link to the same set so you can see what I paid I've been running them since February and have I no complaints just let me know what you think is a fair price.

I don't have many pictures of the console but on http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v688/mudeater/1997 Silverado/?start=20 on page two are a couple more pictures. I still plan to cut a pocket in it at the front next to the dash to hold my ipod and phone and run the cables behind the dash instead in front of the radio as a mess.

Also is the third brake light for ext cab only? I keep seeing them on ebay but they say reg cab only.

Here is the flasher its the larger black square in the lower right of the panel. It's a tridon EP29 i bought it at advance auto for under 15 bucks.
