I think the shaft has plenty of extension in it to work with a body lift, you have to collapse it to make it shorter to put in our trucks than it was in Jeeps.

Also, mine didn't come with the bolts, if anyone needs to know the threads are standard pitch 7MM. I got 40MM long bolts.

As long as your body lift isn't 9" haha, seriously though, I had to almost completely collapse it. There is probably at least 9-10" of travel so I would think it would be fine with most standard body lifts.
