Jeep shaft installed

Ya im definately picking one of these up next time I got to the pick and pull

My local one is in Southaven about an hour away, luckily, I'm going to Oxford (home of the ole miss rebels ) and and I might sneak off in my sisters G6 and grab one.

What year did you grab this out of? and what bolt did you grind? on the shaft? or column?

Nice pics and nice write up, I need to get on from the local yard, I ll take any easy mod to help my steering

It was a 92 Cherokee, I didn't grind a bolt I grinded the shaft on the steering column a little to clear the bolt. I followed this thread http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/...how-i-got-rid-my-steering-slop-cheap-obs.html

There is supposed to be a thread here about it too, but I haven't found it.
