If you start out early in the morning and just stay out in it, it’s bearable. But when your body is used to 72* of air conditioning and you go out to 100+ it’s like being smacked. It’s rather offensive.
So true. I was outside just about all day today, and managed. Only went inside for a quick lunch. If I had stayed inside too long, I wouldn't have went back out, for sure.

Yeah, I've been fighting with a/c and blend door problems the last couple of weeks. The key is start early, don't spend much time in a/c. Howdy from a very hot north Louisiana neighbor!

Well I had to take the trash to the dumpster so I ran over to the shop and pulled the tape off the intake to get a look at it. There wasn’t any Bob Rossing to be had this time ‘round. The 24 hrs between coats and 2 coat minimum was the deciding factor. So a random can of Chevy orange VHT was grabbed out of the cabinet and shooketh. 2 lite coats and a 3rd medium wet coat with 10 minute flash times between. I think it’ll be a nice accent. Unintentionally the engine will match my Harley too.

Gasket surfaces will get dressed, threads chased and another thorough soap and water cleaning before assembly.

That color looks great. And a nice looking Harley, too! About every 4 months I get the itch to learn to ride and buy a bike. It usually subsides within a week thankfully.
