The trucks with just the front bar got a larger version than the trucks with both front & rear.
GM's method of compensating for just having the one.
I only got the F59 and no rear bar but, my C1500 is the "standard" weight rating, maybe that has something to do with it?

But PlayingwithTBI has the small bar and no rear bar.
Beat me to it, ha ha

It's also an 88. That has the small rotors, too.
Coincidence?
Could be, everything on my truck is small, other than the 5.7L, ha ha. BTW when I was Looking at my RPO codes, it shows rear step bumper with bump strips, side molding bump strips, front bumper bump strips, front liscense mount, wheel opening chrome covers, or something like that, instead of "trim package". It also shows 2 different blue interior colors (I have that), and in the RPO decoder the blue exterior has 2 different designations there, but it is a single color - whatever!

With the front sway bar it does handle pretty well (bushings are worn), I think I'm about due for some shocks too

Back to the original post, you wouldn't believe the difference between no sway bar and, at least, a front one :waytogo:

I noticed when we got our other 99 Burb, back in 2005, that it handled much better with the front and rear sway bars, than our square body Burbs did with just the front one. I had seen the rear bars on 400 Burbs and was planning on getting one and retro fitting it to the square body Burb, just to see how much difference it would make.
Then the square body Burb got stolen....and to replace it, we got that other 99 Burb. Didn't know I'd be getting a rear sway bar... with the rest of the truck too!

Maybe RPO cause its a silverado not a w/t
IDK, if it's part of the Silverado package I don't think it would be an RPO but, maybe. Like I said all of my trim was RPOs. Other Silverados had crank windows when mine had power windows (1 RPO) and door pocks (another RPO). It's still a mystery to me :Pshyco:
