It would definitely fit. The engine bay is HUGE.

99% sure I'm going LS. If gas keeps going up I may keep the slant six. Haha.

I'd keep the slant 6. I'm more into history, reliability, and uniqueness than all out power, now days. A larger engine, but super cool/unique would also be a consideration, if I happened upon one.... something like an early Hemi (1950s). The Slant 6 is the cheap/easy route, Though. It's up to you of course.

It's been parked for 30 years. They have a good reputation for being indestructible, but it might not even be an option for this engine. It seems like it would be an easy engine to turbo with the hot and cold on the same side and a blow through carb. A turbo slant might be acceptable to my right foot.

I don't really have a plan for it. I wanted something old and cool and I think I got that as you don't see a ton of these at every car show.

Probably won't do much with it until we finish my son's truck.
