Brain Fart EDIT : I left off 2 fitting on original post

Radiator is leaking so I figured I would replace leaky lines while it's apart. Found I should be able to do it with 6 fitting from Summit.

Two fittings, two hose ends...that's one hose. What about the other one?

I simply cut /flared each hard line with AN-08 tube nut ,and sleeve on each one. I used socketless hose/fittings from Aeroquip as their inner diameter runs larger that the AN-08 teflon/stainless....

Not exactly.;) Two fittings, two hose ends = no radiator side hose ends. The 240102 ends have the 3/8 NPT for the filter adapter. edited post with correct # for 6 fittings
I'm going senile :doh2:

Yeah, it's amazing how they have come up with all these mutant, hybrid combinations of hardware. I've got alot of leftover and extra AN and MS stuff. My OE fittings are slightly leaking. I am going to pull the OE clip o ring fittings. Stuff in pipe to AN filter side. Cut off and install the AN tube nuts on new tube. I made new Parker hydraulic hose, ( approved for eng oils also)with short leftover firesleeve. Radiator end gets funky AN adapters to new installed tube nuts and line down to new hose. A few Adel clamps keeps everything in place.

As to not using hydralic hose because it wont last. This is true if you using hydro hose that is rated for tractor type fluids only. Ensure the hose is rated for whatever fluids your running. Whether by SAE, ISO, the hose manufacturers webpages. JIC fittings are 37 degree same as AN and MS.
