1993 Chev K1500 5.7L. Oil Cooler lines from radiator to oil filter adapter. Can anyone tell me which line is which? I think the shorter of 2 lines goes on bottom of radiator to lower fitting at oil filter? Is that the outlet line? Thanks in advance!

I replaced mine on my 93 Chevy Silverado a few years ago. I don’t remember which line is what. But I’m thinking that it’s just a loop. So I’m thinking it doesn’t matter as long as the lines fit where you’re putting them. I know there’s a bracket you have to take off in the middle of the run where the two lines are connected to this bracket. Hopefully that helps.

As there in place, upper fitting of rad to upper fitting on adapter. Yes it matters for direction of flow and cooling. Do it right or don't bother. Don't guess , if you don't know.
