I agree. If I was smart enough I would of just did that to my original block but took the easier route lol. Either way I'll see how it goes and keep everybody posted on this motor:)
I asked an engine builder at a car show a while back about rebuilding mine. He said around $6500 I think, but that was to 383 it, do a big cam, heads, and a Holly sinper EFI swap.

Well makes sense. 1 thing I like about this project is I get to see everything and replace anything needing replacing/ make sure all the bolts are installed. Cant believe the people before me rigged the brackets....
