Kenny, I thought you mentioned somewhere you were pushing 350HP on your engine? I remember your engine has "some" chrome, LOL. You have the factory spider injectors?

I don't know what lb/hr rating is for these MPFI, but I think they do sell for high performance ones. I've seen a post or two with links. @L31MaxExpress I bet can provide that information.

But for stock application, they are a big improvement on how smooth my engine idled after getting these.

About 325 HP. And yes I still have the poppet valves. I read a lot of things some time ago, that the OE injection is good for around 400 HP max. IDK if thats true or not. At 325, it seems like I could use a little more fuel. Just wondering how well the upgraded spider does. I really like the dependable of these trucks. At 253,000 + miles, I know I will need to upgrade some time in the future.

Im still running the OE 4L60E. No rebuild yet. I know that will be the next big thing to go. Once it does,I will have it remaned with performance parts. The biggest thing the Jet programmer did, was improve how quick the transmission shifts. Its a lot quicker. Not barking the tires hard, just much quicker. Yea, it will chirp a second, every now and then, but there are no more long slow shifts to any gear. I know long slow shifts are not good for a trans.

Makes me feel better. I really want that 383 vortec gm selling. Been worried about my 4l60e. Been thinking if it craps out should I try a 4l70e. I really just want a strong durable pair at the end without blowing a tranny every 2 years lol

The 4L60E can be built to hold 500 HP, and more. The 4L60E is an updated turbo 350 with overdrive and electronic controls. The 4L80E is an updated turbo 400 with overdrive and electronic controls well more or less anyway. Any decent transmission shop should be able to do you a performance reman. After all, the 4L60E was a corvette transmission at one point.
