I have a few broken plastic pieces in my cab. The main problem is my cluster bezel. It has a couple cracks that go all the way through, and 2 of the mounting posts on the back for the light switch are broken loose. I would rather buy a new bezel, but I haven’t found one that’s not damaged. The bezel is black and was only used in 1988.

I have tried the 2 part epoxy and it worked in other places, but not on the bezel. Is there any place I can send it to that would restore it? Also I’ve seen plastic welding kits. Has anyone had good experience with that?

I know its messy and tacky but if done right you can send it and repaint it. Issue would be to match the color paint. I would ask sewlow

Do you have a pic of the crack?

the one on the corner keeps breaking. The one in the middle has held, but it flexes and you can see the gap. That’s why I’m curious about welding.

I see. Well if that was mine. I try sanding the plastic, maybe scuff. Jbweld the entire corner at least 1inch down and 1 inch to the right. Let it harden and sand it smooth. Then I flip it and do the same thing to the other side. If you accidentally jb weld the screw hole you could redrill it when it's hard and slowly.
Problem with this method is you'll have to repaint all the black. I'm not sure how you would feel about that.

I've never tried plastic welding but that should work so long as you match the plastic and get the appropriate rod
