Yeah in the old days (Pre-Fluid Film era) didn’t farmers just spray oil on the underside of equipment?

Used oil was supposedly the go to.

I don't get this. I bought this on Amazon. It is GM 52471363. The same P/N is engraved on the new one (right) and the old one (left). Yet, the new one (from Amazon) is larger than the old one, so much so that it will not fit. WTF.

It fits. Your old one just has ALL the edge broken away. When i changed mine on a different chevy truck most of the edge was broken away.

I've had it broken down for months now. It's nothing complicated. Just take pics along the way and it's easy to put back together.

I'm disappointed that I could not find two of the air doors.

One is GM 3090357.

The other is GM 3090355.

I cleaned them with soap/water and lubed the rubber with Shin-Etsu. Rubber is not in terrible condition. Just wanted to replace these along with the other three doors (which I did find).

Maybe because I have a crew cab and it has two additional doors for the plenum that goes to rear seats? I don't know.
