I've never heard of a wiper arm upgrade but I doubt a lot of people even think about it because it's overlooked. You may want to take a trip to the junk yard and try some different ones out. Maybe the GMT800 wiper arms work on this trucks.

Most people just paint their stock ones to clean them up.

Also if you have a 88-94 truck, you can swap out the wiper arms off of a 95-98 GMT400. The appearance isn't the upgrade part here, but the performance. The 95-98 GMT400 wiper arms, have a stiffer spring in them and perform a bit better due to the added pressure on the blade.

I never knew this. I might have to try it.

I think you can run 20", but it will scrape the top of the windshield. I run just 18" and they do fine. Get some Duralast FlexBlades, they are awesome.

Ya. It's just what I've guestimated from the length of the 18"s. 19" would really be more fitting I think.
