wheels for 454 ss tires

Hey there , just picked up a set of 454 wheels and trying to decide what size tires i should get for them….what do you guys have? pics would be appreciated….heres my truck now stock ride height but i will be doing a small 2” drop in the rear

I believe the actual 454SS's ran 275/65/15's.
Usually the tire shop will fight back on that until you show them that GM put them on at the factory.

275/60/15 is the 454SS OEM tire size.

Yes, equivalent to a 235 70 15, a little shorter than the 235 75 15 on the rest of the 2wd 1500 trucks. And if 75s fit, 70s will too, thus making 275 60s a go in my book!
