Nobody sells everything 100% bumper to bumper. So you can write that expectation right out of the list. :)

As time goes on, who has what, and what ultimately is available ANYWHERE, will evolve. This is true with any vehicle.

Yeah I assumed so it was wishful thinking

The three websites I have used most to find part numbers for GM/Chevrolet parts are

1. Wholesale GM Parts Online
2. GM Parts Giant
3. Nemi GA Parts

I used (1) and (2) the most; they work hand-in-hand.

For example, say I am searching for one of the engine oil cooler hoses. I go to GM Parts Giant and find GM 15112870.

In the description, it states it "includes 15,16." I scratch my head and think, "What are 15 and 16?"

That's where you go to GM Wholesale Parts Online. Now, you must know your vehicle quite well, including the RPO codes, in order to successfully use Wholesale GM Parts Online.
I plug in 15112870 and it gives several Diagrams and Kits.

I click on the first one because my truck meets all the specifications (L31, 3/4 ton, 4WD, 100 AMP (K60), etc.

Notice how the diagram has numbers, including 15 and 16. So, these are the numbers that GM Parts Giant is referring to. 15 and 16, in this case, correspond to the convoluted tubing protector that goes on the pipe and the O-ring.

Unfortunately, a lot of parts for GMT400s are discontinued. Sometimes you can find the parts on eBay. Other times treasure yards. Forums. Other times you can find aftermarket parts of similar quality. But, it is nearly impossible to find trim pieces these days from anywhere but eBay and treasure yards, and to find them in good quality (without broken tabs or clips) is rare.

If I can add my 2 cents to the whole 100% bumper to bumper coverage... I wouldn't suggest using that site even if indeed it did exist. There are just some things available from certain specialists that will always beat the pricing/availability/quality of a generic supplier. I wouldn't buy a steering box off of amazon or even from a website for that matter.... I'd go to a very trusted supplier semi-locally. Just can't beat the guarantee of quality and the customer service with something like that if it did go wrong. That being said, I'd never go to them for body panels... it just wouldn't make sense. I think it's a good thing that there's not just one place to get everything. It keeps quality suppliers honest and priced fair... (for the most part). Plus it keeps people like me employed. If you want one place to go to start looking for parts... especially obscure or expensive ones that you want good advice on... I'd just start here.

Yeah when it comes to something like that I do go to a supplier.
