Truck didnt go

My truck has been pings like crazy. I am going to check the timing on it. But today I was try to change lanes made it over but the truck was doggy. Then I noticed a check engine light. I went home read the codes I got 32 and 43. Where to begin


truck is 91 c 1500 4.3

I checked the timming it around 10 degress notch not zero. I taped on the engine and i saw a knock spike on the scanner. So i am going to advance the timing to zero closer to the big notch

Code 32 is EGR. Don’t know 43. I had code 32 when my engine pinged. Put a NOS EGR valve in & no more code or pinging.
